Love this clothes line! The cord is very durable and there is no slack when you wrap the cord around the stopper. I have used other lines that I have purchased at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond and the line always shreds or gets caught. I highly recommend this product for those of you who like to air dry your VIP clothing!

The retractable dryer is exactly what I wanted and envisioned for my back yard–very easy to install-nice clean line- I have it from the back corner of my house to across the yard to the shed and have used it several times – it’s very easy to use and retracts back smoothly–I would recommend it to anyone who needs a clothes line for those periodic things that you don’t want put in the regular clothes dryer. It’s great.

The mounting bracket to secure the clothesline to a wall is made of plastic with no reinforcing steel plate. I have used my line for a few loads of laundry and the mounting bracket is already showing signs of stress and will break without some further support that we plan to add.

I OWNED A RETRACTABLE DRYER FOR 10 YEARS WITHOUT A PROBLEM. I EVEN INSTALED AN INLINE PULLY THAT ENALED ME TO DOULE THE DRYERS USE ON A SMALL TERRACE. THE NEW DESIGN INSTALLED THE ROUND TIE OFF ON THE MOUNTING BRACKET RATHER THEN ON THE DRYER ITSELF. NOW IT TAKES FOREVER TO POSITION THE LINE SO THAT IT HOLDS TAUGHT.
THIS IS UNFORTUNATE CHANG TO A GRAT PRODUCT. I JUST HOPE IT DOESN’T LAST AS LONG AS THE LAST ONE.
